Let candidates spend money how they want

We give gifts to people for a variety of occasions. We do not stipulate ow to spend the money they receive. But if we did and they did not comply with our wishes, would we have them sent to jail? No. Because lawmakers have not passed a stupid law making this illegal, yet.

But, we do have stupid laws for politicians who receive donations and gifts from their supporters making it illegal to use their gift without restrictions. This law should be abolished and all campaign finance laws should be abolished. We should not be putting our politicians in jail for spending gift money for whatever needs they have.
