Argiris a strong voice for residents

We are writing to strongly endorse Dean Argiris for Wheeling village president and urge all in our community to do the same on April 9. Dean is a leader in Wheeling who has served us well for 12 years as a trustee in addition to four years on the planning commission.

If you go to his website, he lists out many of his accomplishments in making Wheeling a more attractive community to live and do business in. These include initiatives like the Westin North Shore development and his efforts to beautify the community just to name a few. His record of working for a stronger village is clear.

While this record alone is enough for Dean to earn our vote, it is really his role as a tenacious advocate for Wheeling’s residents that is his best credential. When our neighborhood faced a problem with erosion along Buffalo Creek, Dean spearheaded the effort to obtain state funding to complete the Buffalo Creek Bank Stabilization Project. When our neighborhood was plagued with continuous power outages, Dean helped us organize and connect with ComEd, which led to significant improvements to the power grid feeding our homes.

Over and over we have witnessed Dean take on the causes of residents and, most importantly, get results on their behalf.

In short, Dean Argiris is a strong leader, an outspoken voice of the people and the right man to lead Wheeling to an even brighter future. We hope you will join us in our support for him as our next village president.
