Tea Party, Occupy should join forces
First, I want to thank Jim Davis for his thoughtful insight in to what many perceive as unfair treatment of the Tea Party. Kudos to Jim.
Second, I have an idea. If the people of two recent movements, Ocuppy Wall Street and the Tea Party, joined forces I think we would get revolutionary change. By bringing forces together, we would ferret out those within each movement who are in for reasons that are not altruistic (those looking for power and self interest).
You could easily have an Occupy Washington movement. A Tea Party on Wall Street would require executives to consider those that help build their empires, the working man and women, and represent them in the board room. The problem we have is that the politicians and financial executives feed each other. They feed with money and power.
Our financial executives and politicians are bankrupting us financially and leading us in an immoral fashion. But they know that with us divided we can never stop them. United we stand ... divided we fall. Forget about border patrol; our enemy is within.
