Probst returning for 2 more 'Survivor' seasons
LOS ANGELES — Jeff Probst won't be snuffing out his own torch any time soon.
The "Survivor" host and executive producer will return for the next two seasons of the CBS reality TV competition, the network announced Wednesday.
Probst, who has won three outstanding reality TV host Emmys for his role as Tribal Council moderator, has hosted the contest featuring castaways outwitting, outplaying and outlasting each other for $1 million since it debuted in 2000.
The Nicaragua-set 22nd edition of the series, "Survivor: Redemption Island," is currently broadcast Wednesdays on CBS and added dismissed contestants battling to return to the game.
