Carmel tops Marist in double OT

Cassidy Kloss scored 18 points, Kathleen Felicelli added 17, and Carmel Catholic’s girls basketball team outlasted visiting Marist 66-61 in double overtime Wednesday night.

Carmel improved to 9-1 and 2-0 in the East Suburban Catholic Conference.

The score was tied 47-47 at the end of regulation and 54-54 after the first overtime.

Alexa Svoboda and Leah Lach added 8 and 7 points, respectively, for Carmel.
