North Avenue sanitary sewer work to begin Dec. 10

The City of Naperville informs residents and interested parties that sanitary sewer infrastructure construction work is scheduled to take place on North Avenue between Wright Street and Columbia Street beginning Friday, Dec. 10. The project will take approximately two weeks to complete with a majority of work occurring in the parkway. Lane reductions and/or detours may be in place throughout construction. Motorists are encouraged to use caution in this area and use alternate routes to avoid delays.

This project is part of the city's long-term capital improvement plan to maintain its sanitary sewer infrastructure. The work consists of installing approximately 360 feet of 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer as well as replacing service lines served by this sewer main. This project will replace a deteriorated main and improve infiltration and inflow issues.
