Funerals set for southern Illinois tornado victims

HARRISBURG — The southern Illinois community of Harrisburg is preparing for a second day of services for people killed in a deadly tornado.

Funerals for three of the six tornado victims will be held Sunday. The tornado hit the 9,000-resident Saline County community before dawn Wednesday.

Services are planned Sunday for 61-year-old Donna Rann and her 64-year-old husband, Randy Rann, as well as 50-year-old Greg Swierk, an Army veteran who will receive a full military burial.

Services were held Saturday for 75-year-old Mary Osman, 74-year-old Linda Hull and 22-year-old Jaylynn Ferrell.
