Fault students for ignoring fine print

How is it that Westwood College is to be blamed for students either not reading, or if reading not understanding, what the contents of a disclosure form mean? Westwood’s disclosure form clearly states Westwood’s policy. Reporter Anna Kukec should have asked the students if they were provided a disclosure form. If they were and still enrolled, then this is a nonstory. If they were provided this disclosure form and are now crying about how much student loan debt they have and no job in the Illinois criminal justice system, Westwood is not liable. Welcome to the real world, kids.

Annette Arkema said that she was going to Westwood for about two years, when she found out that they are not accredited in Illinois. Duh! That may have been a good starting point for her, to thoroughly understand what she was about to invest in.
