Music notes: Paul Revere & the Raiders go festive
Old-school holidays
Get into the holiday spirit with some festive rock 'n' roll from classic rockers Paul Revere and the Raiders. The band, appearing in the suburbs this weekend, will play a mix of classic pop songs and Christmas-time favorites. The openers will be fellow '60s legends Gary Puckett and the Union Gap.

New-school holidays
Lake County native Scott Lucas and his band the Married Men will play a holiday show next week at the Hideout in Chicago. The concert will benefit the National Association for Down Syndrome. This show offers an inexpensive way to see great music and help a good cause during the holiday season.
