Improv Playhouse holds auditions for teen performers

IP-Elite, the musical theater performance component for teens at Improv Playhouse, is seeking performers in grades 8-12 for the Jason Robert Brown musical “13.” All roles available.

Auditions will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, at The Improv Playhouse Theater, 735 N. Milwaukee Ave., Libertyville. Rehearsals begin Saturday, March 9. IP-Elite meets 7-9 p.m. Wednesdays and 3:30-5:30 p.m. Sundays. Performances will be May 17-19.

Members of IP-Elite tend to be triple threats who wish to improve their performing skills while working with other serious musical theater actors seeking the challenge of developing their craft. The ensemble will seek to provide the highest quality in professionalism and performance bringing various genres to the stage.
