Lake Zurich cop kind, professional

I am sorry to read of Lake Zurich Police Officer TeRonde’s recent problems.

In 2008, my daughter was involved in a serious automobile accident. Officer TeRonde handled the case. At a time my daughter and I were upset and frightened, Officer TeRonde conducted himself very professionally and treated us with kindness and compassion.

When I went to court with my daughter, Officer TeRonde was there. We listened to the various proceedings and it was clear that Officer TeRonde had made positive impressions on other people in the courtroom, too, earning their respect and often, gratitude.

I wish Officer TeRonde well and hope that he returns to a positive and productive career.
