Free exhibit focuses on bicycling
Pedal your way through the Elk Grove Historical Museum’s newest interactive exhibit “Folks with Spokes.”
The history of bicycling in Elk Grove includes several historical artifacts, an opportunity to decorate wheel spokes, a chance to experience a ride through Busse Woods, and much more. Admission to the exhibit is free.
“Folks with Spokes” opens on Friday, March 8, and runs through Aug. 31. Exhibit hours for March through May are 2:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. Hours for June through August are noon-5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturdays. You may also visit the exhibit by appointment.
This exhibit is sponsored by the Elk Grove Village CycleSport with services provided by the Friends of Cycling. The Elk Grove Historical Museum is located at 399 Biesterfield Road in Elk Grove Village.
