‘Glee’ star Morrison coming to Rosemont

Attention, “Gleeks”: Matthew Morrison, the actor who portrays likable teacher Will Schuester in the popular musical television series “Glee,” will make a solo appearance at the Rosemont Theatre this summer.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for the show, which will take place on Tuesday, June 21. Ticket prices will range from $37.50 to $80.60.

“Glee,” which was co-created by Mount Prospect native Ian Brennan, tells the story of the outcasts who make up a Midwestern high school glee club. The show combines salty humor and elaborate musical performances. Morrison plays the club’s director.
