Will they ask, 'Is it constitutional?'
If the GOP wants to rebuild the U.S. Senate with a bunch of Arlen Specter liberal types, then Mark Kirk is their man. Their numbers have already increased with the election of Scott Brown of Massachusetts.
If you would like the government takeover of parental rights to continue, then either Senate candidate - Kirk or Alexi Giannoulias - will maintain the status quo. Elections are really the voters convention where the rights of the parents and taxpayers can be voted on and heard loud and clear.
This November, "choice" is on the ballot. Mike Labro, a Libertarian candidate for the U.S. Senate has heard the complaints of the taxpayers, parents, gun owners, business and laborers and has tossed is hat into the ring. He qualifies for the tea party movement agenda. Less government, more take home pay.
What we need most right now are representatives who will ask the question, "Is it Constitutional?" before voting on any and all legislation.
