Northwestern RB Treyvon Green injured at practice
Northwestern running back Treyvon Green was taken from the field in an ambulance after absorbing a hard hit to the chest during practice Friday.
The sophomore went down on what looked to be a clean hit by defensive back Ibraheim Campbell and remained on the field while medical staff attended to him for about 10 minutes.
School spokesman Paul Kennedy says Green had movement in all four limbs and was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
