Des Plaines Garden Club fundraiser sucess

The Des Plaines Garden Club’s annual November fundraiser was a big success with 126 members and guests attending the luncheon, purchasing raffle tickets and enjoying the holiday floral arrangements program by Pesche’s flowers.

The fundraiser was held at Manzo’s Banquets in Des Plaines. The profit made will help the club to continue its community participation in the American Cancer Relay For Life, Arbor Day Celebration, Community Gardens, Des Plaines Art Council, Des Plaines Library, Des Plaines Self-Help Closet and Food Pantry, Des Plaines Senior Center, Memorial Day Service at Lake Park along with many contributions related to gardening.

It was a very enjoyable afternoon.
