Palatine High School psychologist honored

Palatine High School Psychologist Robert Ingraham received the Illinois School Psychologists Association “Ted Smith” Practitioner of the Year Award for 2011. This award, presented annually since 1983, recognizes the state’s person who is most outstanding in the practice of school psychology. During his District 211 career, “Dr. Bob,” as he is known, has completed more than 1,000 case study evaluations, participated in more than 12,000 parent meetings and IEP conferences, and facilitated more than 100 different support groups. As one administrator wrote, “It is almost impossible to put on paper the impact ‘Dr. Bob’ has had on the students, staff, parents, interns, and school psychologists not only in High School District 211, but well beyond the district boundaries.”
