Gas prices a result of lack of leadership

When the price of gasoline kept escalating during the presidency of George W. Bush, the mantra of the Bush-haters/Democrats was, “It’s Bush’s fault because of his friendship with all those nasty oil company people.” Then, when the price of gasoline went down (it was under $2 a gallon when he left office) they remained strangely silent. They had lost their foolish and erroneous talking point.

Now, under the current administration, the price of gasoline keeps rising and there is speculation that $5 a gallon may be in the not-too-distant future. Those same Bush-hating Democrats aren’t blaming this abominable situation on Obama’s friendship with those evil big oil people, illustrating once again their inconsistency. Let me help them out. The reason the price of oil keeps going up is that their hero, President Obama, won’t allow us to drill for oil in Alaska and he put a six-year stop to drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. If we had proper leadership in this country we could produce enough oil to satisfy our needs.

Is it possible that the high price of gasoline is the result of President Obama’s friendship with all those oil-producing Arab countries?
