Ten fire dept. employees join chief's Wellness Challenge through group weigh-in

WHAT:

Ten Naperville Fire Department Administration employees have eagerly accepted a wellness challenge from Fire Chief Mark Puknaitis. On Monday, January 23, these employees will have a group weigh-in on a Fairbanks truck scale located in Naperville's Electric Service Center. They will weigh-in again near the end of May with a collective goal of losing 10 percent of their combined body weight in a manner promoting lasting lifestyle changes. This challenge is meant to help encourage employee wellness and overall health in the Fire Department, which translates to lasting benefits for these employees and the City.
