Charities have burdens enough

You have heard it said that instead of the government giving aid to the people, we should let the churches and nonprofits take care of social services. But that is just another form of unfair taxation. I have worked for nonprofits (and volunteered for my church) all my life, and they depend upon donations from caring people. So if the nonprofits bear even more of the burden, those people who do not donate get off scot free.
