ComEd will be at Rolling Meadows meeting

Rolling Meadows residents will have a chance to speak with representatives from ComEd at the city council committee meeting at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16.

ComEd will be presenting the company’s annual report next week, which details information on the year’s performance in Rolling Meadows, including outages, restore times and more.

The timing of the report could bring out a lot of frustrated residents who were affected by the recent outage, which left some residents without power for five days.

The report will be held at the beginning of the committee meeting, so that anyone who wishes to speak can do so without waiting through the entire meeting, Mayor Tom Rooney said.

Rooney also reminded residents that there is a total time limit of 20 minutes for comments from the public after ComEd’s presentation.
