Woman struck by vehicle in Arlington Heights

A 60-year-old woman was injured when she was struck by a vehicle in Arlington Heights Monday night, police said.

Emergency crews responded to a report of a vehicle that hit a pedestrian on the 2100 block of South Goebbert Road, just south of Golf Road, at 6:25 p.m., Arlington Heights Sgt. Tom Boggs said.

The woman was transported to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Police did not disclose the victim's name Monday night.

The accident remains under investigation.
