Elgin's dog law shortsighted

It is disturbing that the City of Elgin has chosen to treat law abiding dog owners like criminals. The ordinance is so severe that the average person will be unable to financially comply with the requirements.

We certainly hope that the citizens of Elgin will voice their displeasure of this ill-informed and short sighted decision at the election polls.
