Lyons uncontested in O'Malley vacancy

With 94 percent of precincts reporting, Thomas V. Lyons has won his uncontested Democratic primary to replace the Hon. James P. O'Malley as judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Lyons, who currently serves as a Cook County Circuit Court judge, will vie for a six-year term in November's general election.

The married father of three resides in Glenview.
