For Kane County Board District 21, Republican: Fahy
In the Republican primary race for Kane County Board District 21, incumbent Republican John Fahy once again faces Lee Barrett, who held this seat for two terms before Fahy beat him in 2006. Barrett has run and lost elections for several offices at the local and county level - even making a run at state senate in 2006. We see no reason, however, to replace Fahy, a firefighter, at this time.
Fahy has done a solid job of bringing the bacon home to his constituents in Dundee Township. He also works well with elected leadership at the municipal level and is in touch with their issues.
Also, Fahy favors a Longmeadow Parkway bridge, while Barrett does not.
