FBI steps up efforts to find Aurora man
The FBI is asking for the public's help in tracking down an Aurora man who's been wanted for a year for his alleged involvement in a drug-distribution ring.
Enrique Sanchez Sr., 62, formerly of the 800 block of East Galena Boulevard in Aurora, has been the subject of an FBI manhunt for a year, since being one of 16 people charged in a federal complaint with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, a felony. Three of the 16 eluded capture and remain at large.
Sanchez is accused of taking part in a drug-distribution ring managed by his son, Enrique Sanchez Jr. Sanchez Sr., a Mexican national, allegedly acted as a courier, running cash to Dallas and returning with wholesale amounts of cocaine.
He is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and approximately 225 pounds, of stocky build, with black hair and brown eyes.
