19-year-old shot to death in Aurora
A 19-year-old man was found dead in a driveway from an apparent gunshot wound late Monday night in Aurora Township, police said Tuesday.
Police responded to reports of shots fired at about 10:55 p.m. on the 400 block of Calhoun Street, where officers found the man lying in the driveway, according to the Kane County Sheriff's Department.
The victim was identified as Julius Garcia-Velzquez of Aurora. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Two others were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora with non-life-threatening injuries. One of the wounded is an 18-year-old male who lived at the house. The other injured male was 16 years old and lived in Aurora, police said.
No arrests have been made.
