Name calling shows no valid arguments

I am writing in response to a Dec. 18 letter.

1. Name calling is proof of having no rational arguments.

2. Obama is not a socialist or a communist. The proof is that he has done nothing socialistic in his administration. Strengthening the EPA is not stealing our freedom. Regulating pollution by power plants is not socialism.

3. Obamacare is not a socialistic program. A national health care program exists in all advanced societies. Our program is not a single payer system and is not a takeover of anything.

4. Regulations and restrictions and taxes have existed since Washington’s time.

Sweden and Norway have socialism and are democracies and are certainly free societies with capitalism.
