Send us pictures of your Frosty

The snow is pouring down on us and, instead of focusing on the bad traffic and the pain of shoveling, we want to have some fun by holding a snowman contest.

Send us pictures of snowmen, igloos, snow forts or whatever creation you fashion out of today's snow to snowman@dailyherald.com by 4 p.m. Wednesday.

We don't expect you to be as good as pro snow sculptor Fran Volz of Arlington Heights so creativity is encouraged. Entries from all ages will be accepted; the only restriction is that you live in our circulation area so you must include your name and address.

The winner will receive four movie passes to any Cinemark movie theater throughout the suburbs, and we'll publish the winning entry in Thursday's paper. All entries will be published online.
