Wheeling economic development boss takes similar job in Niles

John Melaniphy III is moving on from his job as Wheeling's director of economic development, which he's had since early 2013. Melaniphy said he's heading south on Milwaukee Avenue to become the head of economic development in Niles. He said he'll assist with the planned redevelopment of the Golf Mill Mall as part of his duties in Niles. Melaniphy had a similar economic development post in Arlington Heights before he joined Wheeling.
