Ohio team bus collides with plow; 1 killed, 4 hurt
BUCYRUS, Ohio — A bus carrying members of a college wrestling team has collided with a snowplow in Ohio and killed a 52-year-old man on the bus.
The State Highway Patrol says the University of Mount Union bus was in the far right lane and passing the left-lane plow late Tuesday on U.S. 30 in north-central Ohio's Crawford County.
Daniel Gorman of Hartville was pronounced dead at a hospital.
Troopers at the Bucyrus (byoo-SY'-ruhs) post say four people were treated for minor injuries. They include a 19-year-old team member, the head coach and an assistant coach.
The driver of the state snowplow was not hurt. The bus was returning to the school in Alliance after a meet at Ohio Northern University in Ada.
Several inches of snow had fallen; authorities are investigating.
