Don’t compare teachers to veterans

In response to a June 19 letter ‘Teachers in trenches, too’: I do not want to debate the pros/cons of the plight of today’s teachers. But to compare them to Vietnam veterans or to any veteran of any war shows a great disrespect to all veterans. No one is in the same league.
