Bunny Dash set for Saturday in Palatine
Adrenaline Sports Management and Whole Foods Market will host the Third Annual Bunny Dash Go Green Race on Saturday morning at the Deer Grove East Forest Preserve in Palatine.
The event will feature a 5K race, a one-mile youth race and a 100-yard kids dash/egg hunt. There also will be a petting zoo and a clothing and running shoe drive.
Organizers made environmentally friendly changes to the event this year, such as eliminating paper registration and awarding the greenest athlete. The event benefits Fathers Helping Fathers and other local charities.
