Explorers holding South Barrington car show

Hoffman Estates Police Explorer Post 806 is hosting its first car show fundraiser on 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 30, at the Arboretum, 100 W. Higgins Road, in South Barrington. Attendance is free; participants can preregister until Friday, June 29, for $10 or at the show for $15. Cost of attendance is free. There will be trophies for first, second and third place vehicles in different classes, including custom, classic, muscle and import. Check-in is at 10 a.m. There will also be a DJ, raffles and prize packages. Registration proceeds will benefit Hoffman Estates Police Explorer Post 806.
