United Airlines presents Des Plaines Community Foundation with donation

Robert Argus, senior manager, United Airlines presented the Des Plaines Community Foundation with a check for $1,000 from the United Airlines Foundation at a recent Board of Trustees meeting.

Robert Argus was granted this check from United because of more than 150 hours of volunteer work he provided with the Neighbors Helping Neighbors program of the Des Plaines Community Foundation.

The Des Plaines Community Foundation is a non-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that serves the residents who live and work in Des Plaines. The Neighbors Helping Neighbors Program helps the disabled and elderly with transportation, yard work, house repairs, snow shoveling, etc. in order to enable them to live on their own.
