Bartlett voters are the biggest losers

This letter is in response to letters from the people of Bartlett about the resignation of Michael Kelly, former mayor. A kind, caring, honest man of high morals and integrity.

You board of trustees looked and said, “High morals, honest, caring? Can’t have that!” So they chewed him up and spit him out! The people of your village voted for Mr. Kelly. He won! Guess your board of trustees doesn’t honor our voting process. And Mr. Kelly? He turned the other cheek.

I think it was Martin Luther King who stated, “Our nation has lost its soul.”

I hope you will “stay angry” and take one small step to get it back.
