Insurance should cover contraceptives for women
In response to John Craychee’s comments regarding “Leave insurance plans to employers,” if insurance companies pay for vasectomies and Viagra for men they should pay for contraceptives for women. It “tramples on the Constitution” when someone discriminates against women by refusing to pay for women’s health care.
The Obama administration is making sure that women’s health care is treated the same as men’s health care. Also, nothing we receive from an insurance company is free. We pay for insurance coverage. If an employer provides the insurance, it is considered part of the pay package.
