Hoffman Estates Sister Cities hosts French evening

The Village of Hoffman Estates Sister Cities Commission is hosting its 16th Annual French Evening from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18. The evening, titled “Soirée Culinaire — Discovering French Delicacies,” will be held at The Stonegate Conference & Banquet Centre, 2401 W. Higgins Road. The cost is $45 per person. Patrick Guat, guest chef from the village’s sister city Angoulême, France, and his students from L’Amandier School will prepare the three-course meal. French wine and Pineau Charentes, a regional liqueur of the sister city, will also be included in the price of the ticket. For reservations and ticket information, call (847) 781-2606.
