Undue optimism

Let me understand. The Bears won one game against a team above .500, losing six times. They lost three to teams under .500, winning six times. This is not real improvement. Maybe they hope to play only teams under .500 next year so they can improve again.

The coach said they have the foundation with hard work and enthusiasm. But do they have players who can block and tackle?

Let’s hope we don’t hear about the Super Bowl during spring training.
