A needed gut punch on Hamas terrorism
Normally I am not a fan of Susan Estrich’s columns, but I do read them from time to time. I must commend her on her column of Jan. 5 that explained in graphic detail the atrocities performed by Hamas militants on civilian Israeli women. It was certainly an eye opener.
Estrich’s column provided a gut punch reality of how evil Hamas is. After reading this column, anyone who thinks Hamas is a legitimate political power in Gaza needs to rethink their position and come to their senses. What was done to innocent, unarmed women is unthinkable and horrible, not to mention inhuman.
There have been hundreds if not thousands of atrocities done throughout history, but what the Hamas militants did was probably the worst I’ve heard of.
Regardless of what you think of the Israeli response, you cannot deny that they have a right to defend their people and country. And who can blame them after the horrific acts of violence done on innocent women and children.
Thanks to Estrich for bringing light to a part of the Israeli-Hamas war that has not been talked about enough by the media.
