New dining and retail coming to Naperville’s CityGate Centre in February

Halsted Steet Deli and Apotheco Pharmacy are scheduled to open next month at CityGate Centre at Route 59 and Ferry Road in Naperville.

Halsted Street Deli, founded in Chicago in 1998, is known for its “colossal two-handed sandwiches,” hot Italian sandwiches, wraps, bagel sandwiches and paninis, along with homemade soups, fresh salads and breakfast items.

The eatery at CityGate Centre will open in early February on the first floor of 2135 CityGate Lane, in the community’s cornerstone office building. The deli will be open 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday.

“As our office tenants bring employees back to the workplace, whether full-time or hybrid, we are adding these great amenities for them and the community as a whole,” said Frank Klimala of Calamos Real Estate, the property manager.

Other CityGate Centre restaurants include Lavazza and Zorba, also serving breakfast and lunch, and Tap In Pub, CityGate Grille and Che Figata serving lunch and dinner.

Apotheco Pharmacy, a dermatologic pharmacy located in 16 states, is opening its Naperville branch in suite 127, 2155 CityGate Lane, also in February.

Its pharmacists are highly specialized in dermatological medications, and fully licensed to fill other prescribed medications.
