4 children fatally stabbed in Memphis; mother in custody

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Officials say four children in Memphis have been fatally stabbed and their mother has been taken into custody.
Shelby County Sheriff's Office spokesman Earle Farrell said the stabbings occurred at an apartment complex Friday and deputies were at the scene. No further information was immediately available.
The Commercial Appeal reports that sheriff's deputies blocked off a section of the well-maintained brick buildings at the Greens of Irene apartment complex.
