Fort Hill Wellness Series to focus on nutrition Jan. 9

The Fort Hill Wellness Series continues into the new year with its next topic addressing nutrition at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9, at Fort Hill Activity Center, 20 Fort Hill Drive.

The seminar features Candace Lawrence from Naperville’s Trager Healing Center.

In this installment, Lawrence will dive into the art of nourishing both body and mind through her wealth of knowledge in nutrition. With holistic strategies, lifestyle choices and a healthy food balance, attendees can kick off 2024 by embarking on a journey focused on health and nutrition.

“I firmly believe you must look at the whole individual to make a proper assessment of one’s health,” Lawrence said. “Let’s embark on a journey together towards a more vibrant and fulfilling chapter of life.”

Lawrence is an expert nutritionist with credentials from Drake University, DePaul University, and Midwest College of Oriental Medicine. She combines Eastern acupuncture with Western science-based education to serve her patients.

The program is for participants ages 15 or older. Attendees need to register through the Naperville Park District.
