Ryerson Woods to host open house Feb. 7

Lake County Forest Preserve District officials will hold a natural open house at the Ryerson Woods Conservation Area near Deerfield on Feb. 7. The event will run from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and is free to attend. You can explore the woods and take in the winter scenery. Registration isn't needed. The preserve is at 21850 North Riverwoods Road,
