Two people shot in Wheeling

Two people were shot Tuesday night in the area of a condominium complex in Wheeling, officials said.

Wheeling officials said one of them then drove to a Walgreens on West Dundee Road near Schoenbeck. Both victims had nonlife-threatening injuries and are receiving medical treatment, Police Chief Bill Benson said Tuesday night.

Benson said they think it's an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the community. The shootings are still under investigation.
