West Dundee

• Johnnie Gray, 46, of the 1000 block of Canterfield Parkway, West Dundee, was charged Sunday with driving while his driver's license was suspended and operating a motor vehicle with no insurance, according to a news release from West Dundee police. He was also charged with registration suspended for no insurance, police said. He was taken into custody after officers stopped his vehicle at 1:09 a.m. at South Eighth Street and Canterfield Parkway, officials said. He was released, and his next court date is Jan. 28.

• Donell Jackson, 28, of Middlesex Drive, Carpentersville, was charged Sunday with driving while his license was suspended, according to a news release from West Dundee police. Officers stopped his vehicle around 7 p.m. on South Eighth Street at Strom Drive after noticing that he only had one head light on, police said. Jackson was also charged with improper lighting, officials said. He was released, and his next court date is Jan. 28.

• Kyle Ingram, 21, of the 400 block of Hazel Drive, Elgin, was charged Sunday with having no valid driver's license and speeding, according to a news release from West Dundee police. Officers pulled him over around 9:30 p.m. at South Eighth Street at Boncosky Drive, police said. He was released, and his next court date is Jan. 28.

Kane County

• A laptop computer, valued at $600, was stolen between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Dec. 29 from a home on the 40W0-99 block of Jericho Road near Aurora, according to a sheriff report.

• A resident of the 35W900 block of Rivergrange Road near St. Charles reported at 6 p.m. Friday that $500 had been stolen from her purse, according to a sheriff report.

• Jasson O. Montano, 20, of the 500 block of South Farnsworth Avenue, Aurora, was charged with two counts of misdemeanor domestic battery and resisting a peace officer at 3:45 p.m. Saturday after authorities were called to the 500 block of South Farnsworth, according to a sheriff report. Montano is accused of punching a man he knew, the report said.

• Adam M. LaFrance, 42, of the 7N800 block of East Columbine Lane, St. Charles, was charged with domestic battery and interfering with the reporting of domestic battery after authorities were called to East Columnbine at 1:38 a.m. Sunday, according to a sheriff report. LaFrance is accused of pushing a woman he knew and throwing her phone into the side of a fireplace when she tried to call for help, the report said.
