Kevin-Prince Boateng joins Canary Islands club Las Palmas
MADRID (AP) - Spanish club Las Palmas says it has signed midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng to a one-year contract.
The Ghana international will join a modest team from the Canary Islands that did well to finish in 11th place last season.
Besides his stint at AC Milan from 2010-13 that included a Serie A title, the 29-year-old Boateng has played for Hertha Berlin, Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund, Portsmouth and Schalke.
Boateng arrives in Spain after a short second spell at AC Milan during the second half of last season.
Las Palmas says Boateng is "without a doubt the most important foreign player signed by the club in decades."
