Crash closes lanes on I-90

Two westbound lanes on I-90 were closed after a 2003 Saturn was reported to be traveling at a high rate of speed and struck the guardrail, coming to rest on its right side, according to the Illinois State Police.

The crash happened west of Higgins Road. The driver was taken to Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. No further information was available late Tuesday night.
