Lisle VFW to host community blood drive Aug. 22

Lisle Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5696 will hold a community blood drive from 12:30-6 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 22, in the mobile coach at 1209 Lisle Place.

Appointments are appreciated, but walk-ins are welcome.

You do not need to be vaccinated for the COVID-19 vaccine in order to donate.

You also are eligible if you received a COVID-19 vaccine on or before Aug. 19.

Every donor will save up to three lives.

As a thank you, all attempting donors will receive a Summerfest code to redeem for a general admission ticket.
