Boy Scout Troop 32 celebrates three Eagle Scouts
Boy Scout Troop 32 in West Dundee has added three new Eagle Scouts to their ranks in the past year. The Eagle award is scouting's highest honor. Only about 4 percent of Boy Scouts eventually attain the Eagle award. The three graduates of Dundee-Crown High School are now attending college.
• Edward J. Pudlo is the son of Edward and Kimberly Pudlo of West Dundee. He and other Scouts from the troop built and installed benches and planted a butterfly garden at Jelke Creek Bird Sanctuary to enhance the local ecosystem. His Eagle Court of Honor was celebrated on April 11, 2015.
• Hoff D. Campbell is the son of Andy and Breina Campbell of West Dundee. Hoff and members of his troop developed a new trailhead and trail at Library Springs East for the Dundee Township Open Space to connect it to the library. He celebrated his Eagle Court of Honor on Dec. 20, 2015.
• Alec M. Bucholc is the son of Matt and Lisa Bucholc, also of West Dundee. Alec had help from troop volunteers to restore Doane's Corner area at Raceway Woods in Carpentersville, including clearing brush and nonnative plants, and planting native seeds, as well as building six benches.
